Trinity Ranch Idaho was established in April 2019 by Diane French and Wendy Sturgis.

Together we saw an opportunity to share our beautiful custom-built log cabin with traveling new friends, give a taste of Idaho farm living, and offer equine-assisted support services to our local communities. With our kids grown and off on their own new adventures, we both threw in the towel to corporate lifestyles and focused our energies on providing quality service to our customers and clients here at Trinity Ranch. We are grateful for the opportunity to share and look forward to providing you with our home-grown hospitality and professional services.

Trinity Ranch Idaho is a working ranch.

We offer a variety of equine programs through Trinity Ranch Wellness for all ages. In partnership with licensed Mental Health professionals, our programs include Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Equine Assisted Growth & Learning and Leadership Teambuilding activities. Private sessions with horses and experiential activities are available for individuals, couples, families, groups, and corporate management teams. All equine activities are implemented on the ground, with no horseback riding or prior horse experience required.

Through Horse Powered Reading, we offer sessions for individuals, groups and summer camps to children ages 6 -16.

These sessions nurture and expand reading abilities using horses in experiential activities and as a personal reading buddy.Want to get involved? Trinity Ranch Wellness loves to partner with schools, teachers, educators and life-long learners to implement this incredible program. As a volunteer community mentorship program, Stable Moments offers foster and adopted kids the opportunity of a life-long learning experience. We pair each child with their own horse, a community mentor, and an individual plan of growth and learning. Kids connect with their horse and mentor each week during a 10-month program, offering them a stable place to gain trust, explore personal growth, and participate in a variety of horse and non-equine activities. Want to get involved? Give us a call to find out how to sign-up a foster or adopted child, become a volunteer mentor, or sponsor a child in the program.

A love of horses, wide open spaces, and country living brought Wendy, Diane, and their family to Idaho in 2003.

In November 2007, we settled into our custom-built log cabin and small-acreage ranch located on the south shore of Lake Lowell in Nampa. Surrounded by tranquility, it was a dream come true. Each day we rejuvenate our senses with rolling green farmland, local food and spirits, soaring birds of prey, and migrating waterfowl. Vibrant sunrises over our abundant garden and deep-red sunsets fill our souls. We raised three children on farm chores and homegrown cooking, an appreciation to serve others, and love for the many outdoor activities available here in Idaho.

Trinity Ranch Idaho is minutes from the Idaho Equine Expo and Event Center which hosts year-round equine events.

Our location offers easy access to I-84, local wineries and craft breweries, farmer markets, and public lands. Take a hike or ride in the Owyhee mountain foothills or nearby Boise and Payette National Forests. Float the Boise River, ski Bogus Basin, bike the greenbelt, or enjoy a day in downtown Boise with quaint shops and local food-to-table dining. Within minutes you can launch at several access points along south shore Lake Lowell with its amazing bass fishing, kayaking, and bird-watching, or visit the nearby Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge visitor center.

Throughout the years we offered our home to family friends as a place of rejuvenation, reflection, and relaxation.

Today we continue that same tradition by offering you, our new friends, a place to come home to. Enjoy an overnight stay at Trinity Ranch B&B  in our rustic log cabin that includes a hearty country style breakfast in the morning. Kick off your boots. Enjoy an evening by the fire or relax with a cold beverage on our deck overlooking our horse pasture. Gaze on the dark sky and stars above or make friends with our family ranch critters. Stay awhile. We love where we live and want to share the experience with you
